Beit Midrash and Dorms 

Yeshivat Mitzpeh Yericho is located in a growing, peaceful religious Yishuv, overlooking the Dead Sea, with a breathtaking view of the Judean Desert. The silent desert, away from distractions yet close enough to Jerusalem, provides optimal circumstances for learning, growth, and inspiration.

The Yeshiva is located on a large campus with a beautiful, new Beit Midrash. In addition to a spacious and comfortable Beit Midrash the complex also includes classrooms, a computer room and a large dining hall. The Beit Midrash, located at the edge of the Yishuv, staring at the magnificent dessert mountains and the Dead Sea, provides students the ultimate conditions to focus on their growth and connection to Torah.

Students stay in newly built dormitories, in well air-conditioned rooms, housing five or six students. Each room contains closet space for clothing and personal belongings, two bathrooms with showers, and a small kitchen area. On every floor of the building, there is a large outside porch area where students can relax and spend time together when they are not in the Beit Midrash.

Facilities

In addition to its focus on rigorous Torah study, the yeshiva offers various recreational facilities to enhance the well-being of its students. The campus includes a gym with fitness equipment, a music room where students can explore and develop their musical talents, and outdoor spaces such as a soccer field and a basketball court. Additionally, there is a cooking room available for students interested. These facilities provide students with opportunities to relax, stay physically active, and engage in creative pursuits, balancing their intense study with their overall health and personal growth.

The Yishuv

Mitzpeh Yericho is a growing religious Yishuv that currently numbers about 600 families. It is located in the Judean desert overlooking the Dead Sea, twenty-five minutes from Jerusalem by bus, with regular service back and forth. The Yishuv contains a grocery store (“makolet”) and a pizza store. In addition, the Yishuv has a large, brand-new gym and a spacious swimming pool.  

Embracing Community

The English-speaking community has grown significantly in the last few years, they take an active role in Yishuv life. Students will, bezrat HaShem, be assigned “adopted families”, a unique opportunity to connect with these families, and experience life in the Eretz Yisrael. They will be invited to their homes for meals and other events. This connection provides our students a comfortable second home, as well as role models of idealistic Olim families.
