Rav Moshe Nachbar, originally from Philadelphia, PA, studied at Yeshivat Lev Hatorah in Ramat Beit Shemesh and Yeshiva University before returning to Israel for Rabbinical training. He trained at Yeshivat Lev Hatorah’s Educators’ Kollel and Yeshivat Ohr Somayach’s Rabbinical Training and Jewish Outreach program, earning his Smicha from HaRav HaDayan Zalman Nechemia Goldberg zt'l and a Bachelor of Arts in Judaic Studies and Education from Tanenbaum College. Rav Nachbar’s warmth and dedication to his students has been his hallmark across all of his professional endeavors. And there have been many! Rav Nachbar and his wife, Shira, worked as Jewish outreach professionals at UCLA, then moved to Memphis, TN, where he became a Rebbe and later Assistant Principal at the Margolin Hebrew Academy/Feinstone Yeshiva of the South.

Now residing in Hollywood, Florida, Rav Nachbar is a Rebbe and Mashpia at Katz Yeshiva High School in Boca Raton and serves on the Rabbinic staff at the Young Israel of Hollywood, frequently teaching Torah with the south Florida community. Additionally, he runs a private practice, MN coachingstrategies, as a personal development coach, helping individuals reach their life goals. Rav Nachbar aims to connect those around him to the pnimiyus ha-davar, the inner point, in all things. A student of chassidus, Rav Nachbar infuses excitement and simcha in his Torah classes and aims to share the words of the great tzaddikim to all of his students. Together with his wife, Shira, and their four children—Zahava, Libby, Koby, and Naomi—Rav Nachbar considers it a blessing and privilege to teach Torah and serve the Jewish community.
