Rav Tzvi Goldstein
Rav Tzvi Goldstein grew up in Chicago, learned for three years in Yeshivat Hakotel, and then returned to America to study for four years at Yeshiva University. Concurrently, he served as Youth Director and City Coordinator for Albany, NY as part of Upstate New York NCSY. After earning his BA in Psychology, he began learning for Semicha, which he completed at the Yeshiva University Gruss Kollel in Yerushalayim. At the same time, he began teaching in the Yeshivat Hakotel Overseas Program as Mashgiach Ruchani, developing close relationships with many talmidim and delivering shiurim on a range of topics, including Gemara B'iyun and Halacha.
Rav Tzvi is passionate about sharing the beauty and relevance of Torah and helping students identify how they can use their unique talents and interests to contribute to Am Yisrael. He has a special connection to the teachings of Rabbi Samson Raphael Hirsch and Rabbi Yosef Dov Soloveitchik, recently publishing a sefer, Halachic Worldviews, to bring their approaches to a broader audience. As a resident of Mitzpe Yericho, Rav Tzvi looks forward to hosting students regularly at his home, forging a connection both in and out of the Beit Midrash.
